

What is Block Therapy
Block Therapy is a bodywork practice designed to decompress and rehydrate the fascia using the body’s own weight and gravity. By applying sustained, targeted pressure with specially designed blocks, the practice helps create space in compressed connective tissue, allowing circulation, oxygen, and nutrients to flow more freely. Unlike traditional massage or stretching, Block Therapy works at the fascial level to support improved posture, mobility, and overall tissue health. Over time, this gentle yet effective approach can help the body release long-held tension and restore balance from the inside out.

How Block Therapy Works & The Benefits
Block Therapy works by using gentle, sustained compression with specially designed blocks to target the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, and organs. By allowing the body’s weight and gravity to apply pressure, the fascia is encouraged to rehydrate and decompress, helping restore its natural elasticity and glide. This slow, intentional approach enables the nervous system to relax, allowing tight or restricted areas to release without force or strain.

What to Expect During a Session

Session Length & Location
Group Sessions are 60-90 mintues and are held at various locations.
Private sessions are 60-90 mintues and can be done at your resdience or at DaKare Wellness Centre
What to Wear
Comfortable yoga style clothing (fitted is best so the block can sit properly)
Yoga mat
Water bottle
Bath Towel
Everything else will be provided. Just arrive ready to relax, release tension and reconnect with your body
What you Feel
You may notice warmth, tingling, subtle pulsing, emotional release and deep relaxation. These responses are signs that the restricted tissue is softening, circulation is improving, and the nervous system is shifting out of protection and into repair.
Guidance
Classes are slow guided and intentional. We focus on gentle postioning breath awareness and allowing the body time to respond without forcing or strain

$150 for 10-Class Package
-Designed for all levels. The session is designed for a simple and effective way to care for your body, while benefiting from the energy of a group setting.
Private Classes:
$90 for Single Class
$245 for 3-Class Package
$395 for 5-Class Package
-Each session is for your body and your goals, begin with a brief intake to discuss what you would like to improve, pain posture, injury and recovery, stress and overall well-being. Based on this, your sessions are thoughtfully designed for you
Community Care Classes:
$10 for Single Class
-On the 4th Saturday of each month, we offer a special class with 100% of proceeds donated towards a local charity or a community cause. This class makes Block Therapy accessible while giving back to the community
